Best WordPress Affiliate Plugins in 2026: Run a Program or Earn From One
The best WordPress affiliate plugins, split by job: plugins to run your own affiliate program, and plugins to earn as an affiliate.
“WordPress affiliate plugin” means two different things, and most lists mix them up. Some plugins let you run your own affiliate program, so other people sell your products for a commission. Others help you earn as an affiliate, by managing the links and product boxes you put in your own content. They solve opposite problems, so we have split this list in two.
Every price below was read from the developer’s own pricing page on 2 October 2026. Most of them advertise a first-year discount, so we give both the first-year price and the renewal price.

Quick picks
- Best for running a program on almost any setup: AffiliateWP
- Best if your store is WooCommerce and nothing else: Solid Affiliate
- Best for tidy, trackable affiliate links: Pretty Links Pro
- Best for Amazon product boxes: AAWP
- Best for price comparison across many networks: Content Egg Pro
Part 1: Plugins for running your own affiliate program
1. AffiliateWP
AffiliateWP is the one most people end up with, mainly because it connects to nearly everything. Its site lists a one-click integration for WooCommerce plus 28 other eCommerce and form plugins, including Easy Digital Downloads, MemberPress, Paid Memberships Pro, WPForms and Gravity Forms. If you sell through something other than WooCommerce, that list is the reason to choose it.
Every plan includes unlimited affiliates, referral link and coupon tracking, an affiliate dashboard, real-time reports and payouts through Stripe, PayPal or store credit. The more interesting features sit in the higher plans: recurring and lifetime commissions, tiered rates, multi-tier commissions, affiliate landing pages, vanity coupon codes and the fraud prevention tools are all in Pro.
Price from the developer: Personal is $149.50 for the first year on one site (renews at $299), Plus is $199.50 on two sites (renews at $399), Pro is $299.50 on five sites (renews at $599). There is a 14-day refund.
Who it suits: stores on Easy Digital Downloads or a membership plugin, and anyone who wants recurring commissions.
2. Solid Affiliate
Solid Affiliate does one job: affiliate programs for WooCommerce. Its own FAQ says plainly that it “integrates primarily with WooCommerce”, and that focus is the appeal. Setup is a short wizard and there is very little to configure, because it does not have to cope with twenty different checkout plugins.
The Starter plan already includes affiliate groups, flexible commission rates, one-click PayPal payouts, store credit, WooCommerce coupon tracking and data export. Lifetime commissions, the fraud prevention suite, affiliate landing pages and commissions on subscription renewals are in the Pro plan.
Price from the developer: Starter is $149.60 for the first year on one site (renews at $374), Expert is $174.65 on three sites (renews at $499), Pro is $224.70 on ten sites (renews at $749). The refund window is 30 days.
Who it suits: WooCommerce stores that want to be running in an afternoon.

3. Other options worth knowing
- Easy Affiliate, from the MemberPress team. Regular prices are $249, $374 and $499 a year, with a first-year discount.
- SliceWP, which has a free version on WordPress.org and paid plans from $169 for the first year on one site.
- Ultimate Affiliate Pro, a one-time purchase on CodeCanyon. We have a separate Ultimate Affiliate Pro review.

4. Pretty Links Pro
Affiliate links are long, ugly and change without warning. Pretty Links turns them into short links on your own domain (yoursite.com/go/product), counts the clicks, and lets you change the destination in one place when a merchant changes its link. The paid plans add automatic keyword linking, split tests, automatic disclosures and product displays.
Price from the developer: Beginner is $99.60 for the first year on one site (renews at $249), Marketer is $149.60 on two sites (renews at $374), Super Affiliate is $199.60 on five sites (renews at $499).

5. AAWP
AAWP is built for Amazon Associates. It pulls product data from Amazon and shows it as product boxes, bestseller lists, new release lists and comparison tables, and it refreshes prices from Amazon, so your pages do not show out-of-date prices.
Price from the developer: €79 a year for one site, €129 for three, €199 for five and €299 for ten, before tax. Lifetime licences start at €299. Note that AAWP needs access to Amazon product data, either through your own Amazon API keys or through AAWP’s paid API service.

6. Content Egg Pro
Where AAWP is Amazon only, Content Egg works across networks. Its developer lists more than 30 affiliate networks, and the plugin can put offers for the same product side by side as a price comparison, with price history charts and price alerts for visitors. It also has an Amazon module that works without API access, which matters for new sites that Amazon has not approved yet.
Price from the developer: $59 a year for one site, $99 for five, $179 for twenty-five. Lifetime licences are $149, $249 and $449.

What a GPL copy does and does not include
All five plugins are licensed under the GPL, which is why we can distribute them. A copy from PureGPL is the developer’s original file. It is not a licence with the developer, so you do not get their support or updates from their servers, and any feature that depends on the developer’s own account or cloud service will not work. Updates come from us instead. If you need the developer’s support, buy from the developer. We explain this in full in Is GPL legal?
A note on our own program
We run an affiliate program ourselves, and we did not use any of the plugins above. Our store sells in both rupees and dollars and pays affiliates by bank transfer and UPI as well as PayPal, so we wrote our own. For most stores that would be wasted effort: AffiliateWP or Solid Affiliate will do the job on day one. If you would rather earn than build, our program pays 40% on every new order.
Frequently asked questions
Which is the best WordPress affiliate plugin?
For running a program, AffiliateWP if you need wide integration, Solid Affiliate if you are on WooCommerce only. For earning as an affiliate, Pretty Links Pro for links and AAWP or Content Egg for product displays.
Is there a free WordPress affiliate plugin?
Yes. SliceWP has a free version on WordPress.org for running a program, and Pretty Links and ThirstyAffiliates both have free versions for link management. The free versions leave out the features listed under the paid plans above.
Do I need WooCommerce to run an affiliate program?
No. AffiliateWP also works with Easy Digital Downloads, membership plugins and form plugins. Solid Affiliate does need WooCommerce.
Can I use these plugins on more than one site?
With a developer licence, only on the number of sites your plan allows. The GPL itself places no limit on the number of sites.
