AffiliateWP vs Ultimate Affiliate Pro: Which Should You Choose in 2026?
AffiliateWP vs Ultimate Affiliate Pro compared: every plan and renewal price, integrations, payouts, MLM and recurring commissions, and three-year cost.
Ultimate Affiliate Pro is the plugin people pick when they want everything in one box: multi-level marketing, pay per click, affiliate wallets, QR codes, and a list of add-ons that runs to the dozens. AffiliateWP is the more focused and more expensive plugin, which its developer says 30,000+ business owners use. Both run a complete affiliate program; they differ in how much they try to do, what each tier includes, and what you pay for it.
Prices and plan contents come from both developers’ pricing pages, read on 3 October 2026. AffiliateWP has been installed and measured on our test store for earlier comparisons. Ultimate Affiliate Pro has not: it has no free version and we did not have a copy to install, so where this article describes it, it is describing what the developer states and what our earlier Ultimate Affiliate Pro review recorded.

The short answer
- Choose Ultimate Affiliate Pro if you want multi-level (MLM) commissions, pay per click, or recurring commissions and direct link tracking without paying for a top plan, or if you sell through a booking or events plugin (Amelia, The Events Calendar, WP Booking Calendar, Event Tickets) or a Dokan marketplace.
- Choose AffiliateWP if you want a plugin with fewer moving parts, a fraud prevention suite and automatic payouts, or if the add-on sprawl of Ultimate Affiliate Pro is more than your program needs.

Two places to buy Ultimate Affiliate Pro, two prices
Ultimate Affiliate Pro is sold on the developer’s own site as a yearly subscription, at the prices above. It has also long been sold on CodeCanyon as a one-time purchase: our review in August 2026 recorded $89 for the regular licence there. We could not read the CodeCanyon listing on the day we checked, so confirm that price before you buy. Envato’s standard licence terms include six months of support, while the subscription on the developer’s site renews every year.
What each plan includes
Ultimate Affiliate Pro
Pro ($79.30, normally $122, 1 site): unlimited affiliates, referrals, creatives and payouts, 43 standard add-ons, first-party cookie tracking, a link generator, flexible commission rates, real-time reporting, customisable registration, tier ranks, more than 20 email notifications, and the advanced list: multi-level marketing, coupon tracking, recurring and lifetime commissions, pay per click, an affiliate wallet (store credit), direct link tracking, sign-up referrals, QR codes, pretty links, pay-to-become-affiliate, landing pages, checkout referrals, auto-registration, leaderboards and WPML. Tracking integrations in this plan are WooCommerce, Easy Digital Downloads, the developer’s own membership and learning plugins, and Elementor. Payouts by PayPal, Stripe, manual, bulk and store credit.
Full Package ($149.40, normally $249, 3 sites): everything in Pro plus 48 pro add-ons, among them dynamic coupons, payout requests by affiliates, MLM based on product price, WooCommerce revenue sharing, fraud protection, IP restrictions, an affiliate manager role, external referral links, split commissions, a white-label affiliate area, order details for affiliates, advanced reporting, the extended REST API, Zapier, Bitly, Dokan, Polylang, 36+ languages, priority support, and the wider tracking integrations: WooCommerce Subscriptions, MemberPress, Paid Memberships Pro, Paid Member Subscriptions, WPForms, Contact Form 7, Ninja Forms, Gravity Forms, Formidable Forms, LearnPress, Tutor LMS and “5+ other integrations”.
Agency ($288, normally $450, 10 sites): everything in Full Package plus VIP support, hands-on setup help, early access to features and a marketing pack.
AffiliateWP
Personal ($149.50, then $299, 1 site): unlimited affiliates, referral link and coupon tracking, the affiliate dashboard, real-time reporting, Stripe and PayPal payouts, international payouts and store credit.
Plus ($199.50, then $399, 2 sites): adds commissions on sign-ups, a welcome bonus, leaderboards, multi-currency commissions, assigning affiliates at checkout and custom registration through Gravity Forms or Ninja Forms.
Pro ($299.50, then $599, 5 sites): adds recurring and lifetime commissions, tiered rates, multi-tier commissions, direct link tracking, landing pages, vanity coupon codes, automatic payouts, the Affiliate Portal, auto-discounts on affiliate links, converting customers to affiliates and the fraud prevention suite, with priority support. A Growth Bundle adds the RewardsWP Pro loyalty plugin for $349.50 the first year (normally $699), with ten site licences in total.

Three-year cost
| AffiliateWP | Ultimate Affiliate Pro | |
|---|---|---|
| 1 site, lowest plan, 3 years | $747.50 | $323.30 |
| Recurring, lifetime and multi-level commissions on 1 site, 3 years | $1,497.50 (Pro) | $323.30 (Pro) |
| Fraud prevention, 3 years | $1,497.50 (Pro, 5 sites) | $647.40 (Full Package, 3 sites) |
Calculated from the first-year sale price plus two renewals at the full price, as listed on 3 October 2026, assuming prices do not change. The difference is large because Ultimate Affiliate Pro puts recurring, lifetime, multi-level and direct link tracking in its lowest plan, where AffiliateWP needs its Pro plan.
Where AffiliateWP is ahead
- Focus. A smaller feature set with a handful of add-ons, where Ultimate Affiliate Pro offers 43 add-ons in Pro and 91 in Full Package and Agency.
- Fraud prevention and automatic payouts in Pro. Ultimate Affiliate Pro keeps fraud protection for Full Package and lists bulk payouts rather than automatic ones.
- Size. 30,000+ users by its developer’s count, against 17,000+ businesses.
- Measured on our test store: it installed cleanly, created its pages and added one stylesheet and no script to the public site. We have not run Ultimate Affiliate Pro, so we cannot say the same for it.
- International payouts in the affiliate’s own currency.
Where Ultimate Affiliate Pro is ahead
- Price. Lower at every tier, and its lowest plan includes recurring, lifetime and multi-level commissions and direct link tracking, which AffiliateWP keeps for its Pro plan ($299.50 the first year, then $599).
- Multi-level marketing as a core feature, with MLM rates based on product price in Full Package.
- Pay per click, which AffiliateWP does not list.
- Integrations beyond stores: five LMS plugins to AffiliateWP’s three, four booking and events plugins, and Dokan marketplaces.
- Payout requests by affiliates, in Full Package.
- Ten sites on its top plan, against five on AffiliateWP Pro (ten licences only with the Growth Bundle).
Ease of use
This is where the add-on count cuts both ways. AffiliateWP opens a setup wizard on activation and creates its affiliate pages, so a standard program runs after a few choices. Ultimate Affiliate Pro can do more, but our review found that its MLM configuration takes planning, and that its WooCommerce, EDD and BuddyPress features each need the matching plugin active before they do anything. If you want a simple single-tier program, AffiliateWP is the quicker path; if you want MLM, Ultimate Affiliate Pro is the only one of the two built around it.
Both on PureGPL
- AffiliateWP, $3.49, version 2.37.0, plus many of its Pro add-ons as separate downloads
- Ultimate Affiliate Pro, $4.99, version 9.5.9.2, updated 19 September 2026
What a GPL copy does and does not include
Both plugins are licensed under the GPL, which is why we can distribute them. A copy from PureGPL is the developer’s original file. It is not a licence with the developer, so you do not get their support, and anything that runs through the developer’s own account or servers is not part of it. For Ultimate Affiliate Pro that includes any add-on that is delivered or activated through the developer’s licence system. Updates come from us. If you need the developer’s support, buy from the developer.

Frequently asked questions
Is Ultimate Affiliate Pro better than AffiliateWP?
It is cheaper and includes more in its lowest plan, including multi-level and recurring commissions. AffiliateWP is simpler, has fraud prevention and automatic payouts on Pro, and is the only one of the two we have measured on a test store. For MLM or a tight budget, Ultimate Affiliate Pro; for a straightforward program, AffiliateWP.
Does Ultimate Affiliate Pro have a free version?
No. Plans start at $79.30 for the first year on the developer’s site, with a 14-day refund.
Does Ultimate Affiliate Pro support MLM?
Yes. Multi-level marketing is in every plan, and the Full Package adds MLM rates based on product price.
Which has more integrations?
AffiliateWP’s features page cites WooCommerce plus 28 others (its pricing page says WooCommerce + 20). Ultimate Affiliate Pro names around 40 on its integrations page, across stores, memberships, forms, courses, bookings and translation plugins, though many of them need the Full Package plan.
Can I pay affiliates by Stripe?
Both list Stripe payouts. AffiliateWP includes it in every plan, and so does Ultimate Affiliate Pro, starting with its entry Pro plan.
