Srmehranclub Review (2026): The Biggest Catalogue in the GPL Market

An honest Srmehranclub review: 50,000+ products and a 10-year track record, but a $359 lifetime price and low download caps. Who it suits, and who it does not.

Srmehranclub review 2026 scorecard: 50,000+ items since 2016

Last updated: 17 September 2026 · Pricing verified on this date.

Disclosure: This review is published by PureGPL, which competes with Srmehranclub. We’ve tried to be accurate rather than flattering to ourselves — where Srmehranclub is the better choice, we say so.

Verdict: 4.0 / 5

Srmehranclub is the right choice if catalogue breadth is your binding constraint — 50,000+ items, including substantial non-WordPress content, is the largest library in this market by a wide margin, backed by the longest operating history of any GPL vendor. It’s the wrong choice if you want the best price per product or generous daily download limits.

At a glance
Products 50,000+ total (~18,200 WordPress)
Operating since 2016
Entry price $89 first year, $69 on renewal
Lifetime $359
Downloads/day 5–20 depending on tier
Auto updates ✅ Via their updater plugin
Best for Freelancers working across WordPress and HTML/app/script templates

What Srmehranclub Does Well

The catalogue is genuinely the largest. 50,000+ items is not marketing rounding — it reflects real breadth across WordPress themes and plugins, HTML templates, PHP scripts, mobile app templates and other non-WP assets. If you take on varied client work, this is the vendor most likely to already have the obscure thing you need.

Ten years of continuous operation. Founded 2016, still running, still updating. In a market where vendors appear and vanish, a decade of continuity is the strongest trust signal available, and it’s the one thing no newer competitor — including us — can claim.

Strong community reputation. Consistently rated around 4.9/5 across independent review sites, with a large and vocal user base among freelancers.

Automatic updates are supported. A free updater plugin ships with membership; install it, activate it, and updates arrive in wp-admin rather than requiring manual re-uploads.

Non-WordPress coverage is a real differentiator. No other vendor on our list covers app templates and standalone scripts at this depth.

Where It Falls Short

The lifetime price is high for what you get. $359 is double PureGPL’s $179 and triple WorldPressIT’s $119.95. The headline 50,000+ figure softens that — until you separate the WordPress content. At ~18,200 WordPress items, its WP-only cost per product is roughly $0.020, against PureGPL’s $0.011. If you only build WordPress sites, you’re paying a premium for a catalogue you won’t use.

Daily download caps are low. 5/day on Starter, 15/day on Standard and Premium, 20/day on Lifetime. For a $359 lifetime plan, 20 downloads a day is restrictive — migrating an agency’s plugin stack takes a week of rationing. Competitors at lower price points offer 50–100/day.

Reported discrepancies between advertised and actual limits. Several Trustpilot reviewers have reported buying a lifetime plan advertising 20 downloads/day and finding 5/day applied in-account. We can’t verify how widespread this is, and it may reflect tier confusion or since-corrected errors — but it appears often enough that you should check your limit in-account immediately after purchase, while a dispute is still timely.

Search gets unwieldy at this scale. Finding a specific plugin among 50,000 items is harder than it should be. Budget time for browsing.

Update speed varies by popularity. Popular plugins refresh promptly; long-tail items can lag. This is true of every vendor, but it’s more pronounced when the catalogue is this large.

Renewal pricing is tiered. $89 for year one, $69 after. Not hidden, but factor it in — five years on the annual plan is $365, which is within $6 of the lifetime price. If you’re choosing annual, you should almost certainly choose lifetime instead.

Pricing

Plan Price Downloads/day
Starter Entry tier 5
Standard Mid tier 15
Premium $89 yr 1, then $69 15
Lifetime $359 once 20

All plans include access to the full 50,000+ catalogue.

What PureGPL does that Srmehranclub doesn’t

Five capabilities separate PureGPL from every vendor in this market, Srmehranclub included:

  • Disclosed sourcing. PureGPL states it holds live subscriptions with the authors, downloads directly from them, scans each file before publishing, and ships what is “byte-for-byte what the author shipped” — with activation-dependent products flagged as the stated exception. Srmehranclub does not publish a comparable account of where its files come from.
  • Licence keys on every plan, 10–30 a month by tier. Without a key, activation-gated features degrade quietly: cloud template libraries stay empty, AI credits don’t resolve, live shipping lookups fail. Srmehranclub allocates none.
  • Product requests — 2 to 20 a month depending on plan. If something isn’t in the catalogue, they buy it and add it, permanently, for every member. This is why catalogue size alone is a weak comparison.
  • API access on the $19/month Developer tier, the only programmatic access point in this market. For multi-site fleets and provisioning scripts, it replaces clicking through a dashboard.
  • Published freshness numbers — 902 products added and 3,090 refreshed in the last 30 days, against a public changelog. Srmehranclub asks you to take update speed on faith.

Choose Srmehranclub if you need the breadth — especially non-WordPress assets — or if a decade-long track record is worth the premium to you. That’s a legitimate reason and we won’t argue with it.

Choose PureGPL if you build on WordPress and want the lower cost per product, nearly four times the daily download allowance, allocated licence keys, and reseller rights.

FAQ

Does Srmehranclub offer automatic updates? Yes, via a free updater plugin included with membership.

Bottom Line

Srmehranclub earns its reputation on breadth and longevity. If your work spans beyond WordPress, nothing else here comes close. If it doesn’t, you’re paying roughly double the lifetime price for a WordPress catalogue no larger than the alternatives — and accepting a 20/day download cap to do it.
